IRHIS - Interoperable Remote Health Innovation brought to Scale

Grant Agreement number: 101160941
Funded by: Interregional Innovation Investments Instrument (I3) Duration: 01/09/2024 - 31/08/2027
IRHIS aims to establish the first EU-wide Advanced Remote Care Demonstration Chain. It is meant to collaboratively demonstrate and scale Advanced Remote Care Tech Champions across Less Developed Regions (LDR). IRHIS will for that purpose build 3 Interregional DemoScale Labs accelerating the upscale of advanced AI-powered MedTech across 3 of the most critical EU remote care areas: musculoskeletal rehabilitation, neurological disorder treatment, and critical patient conditions (ICU). Specifically, IRHIS will focus on:
- Scaling Remote Health Innovations: Accelerate the upscale of AI-powered sensor solutions, wearable devices, and remote monitoring technologies.
- Enhancing Musculoskeletal Care: Integrate 3 medical sensor technologies into a remote care platform for personalised rehabilitation.
- Improving Neurological Treatments: Develop automated rehab technologies to reduce misdiagnoses and enhance prevention for neurological disorders.
- Advancing Critical Care Monitoring: Integrate advanced sensors and AI predictive analytics for ICU remote monitoring and early sepsis detection.
- Fostering Ecosystem Growth: Build a thriving interregional ecosystem for Advanced Remote Care technologies, enhancing market adoption and financial access.
In practice, our consortium will demonstrate and scale 8 key technologies developed by innovative EU MedTech SMEs, embedding Scale-Ups from LT, EL, BG, BE, ES and RO, involving more than 1000+ patients. Clinical relevance will be created throughout 2 years of continuous, parallel and iterative testing across the 3 DemoScale Labs backed by our 20 partners from 13 EU Regions.
HDHC participates in all project activities, while leading Work Package 1 which focuses on building the first integrated and EU-wide Advanced Remote Care Demonstration Chain.
