The Hellenic Digital Health Cluster (HDHC) met with partners of the IRHIS Project in Larissa during September for three days of collaboration and innovation as part of InnoHealth Forum 2025, a key event dedicated to innovation, research, and entrepreneurship in health.
The IRHIS project meeting brought together the partners to plan the project’s next steps, focusing on the development of the Demo Scale Labs and the expansion of the IRHIS Investor Club—two initiatives set to drive innovation and investment in the digital health sector. Funded under the I3 Instrument (Interregional Innovation Investments), the IRHIS project promotes interregional cooperation by connecting clusters, research and technology organizations (RTOs), and innovative companies across Europe. By bridging these ecosystems, IRHIS aims to accelerate the commercialization of cutting-edge health technologies.
The first IRHIS Annual Networking Event took place during InnoHealth Forum, technological partners including Zive, Vilimed, IDRO, ISOKINE, Gnomon Informatics S.A., Ergobyte Informatics S.A., and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) showcased their solutions through engaging demos, demonstrating how technology is shaping the future of healthcare. Dr. Kęstutis Morkūnas represented IRHIS on a panel dedicated to the commercialization of AI in healthcare, exploring the opportunities and challenges in bringing AI-driven innovations to market.
HDHC, represented by George Dimitriou and Eva Salmatani, presented the cluster’s ongoing work in strengthening and connecting the Greek digital health ecosystem. Through initiatives that promote collaboration, visibility, and growth, HDHC continues to play a vital role in advancing digital health both nationally and at the European level.
Several HDHC members—BIOEMTECH, Computer Solutions S.A., Ergobyte Informatics S.A., Gnomon Informatics SA, and JOIST—were also present, showcasing their innovative work and contributing their expertise to discussions on the future of digital health. Their participation reflects the diversity, strength, and growing impact of Greece’s digital health community.
As always, JOIST provided an inspiring and collaborative environment that brought together researchers, innovators, and entrepreneurs, fostering meaningful connections and new opportunities for cooperation. HDHC extends its appreciation to all partners and members who contributed to this successful gathering!
